Local developers came to Mr. Heyden in 2007 with a pending subdivision on the table. Jim helped change present use and plans, and go through the entitlement process with the local municipality. This involved DNR obstacles, which anyone in development reading this knows what is involved with that public body, and obtained the permits necessary to go forward. Today the lake side exclusive planned use subdivision is going forward, when others are scrambling to see WHAT'S UP??
This Mom and Pop 24 unit hotel is located in the tested area of Janesville, WI. Janesville had the problem of losing Parker Pen years earlier, and the General Motors plant which shut down in 2008. Struggling to survive the local economy issues, and the downturn in hotel business, nationally, Mr. Heyden put together a program, which included financing, and has put the hotel back on track. Join with success, or continue wondering, crying to the bank, with no return for your cash.
Radisson Menomonee Falls Mr. Heyden worked as a consultant for the hotel taking shape in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The hotel will be a new brand of Radisson, with an urban design used in Europe, and will be the first in the United States. The hotel consists of 136 rooms, with banquet space, and a new designed restaurant also from Europe designers. The hotel is located directly on the west expressway corridor for the Milwaukee area, and is scheduled to open in late 2010. Good timing. The hotel is located in a TIF district, which Mr. Heyden also was involved in. Look for more updates as this project moves forward.
